Brian C. M. Forbes
graduated from The Ohio State University and
received his Juris Doctor degree from Capital
University Law School in May of 1999, where he
graduated with honors, including Order of the Curia
and Cum Laude distinctions. While in law school, he
served as a Legal Extern for both the Supreme Court
of Ohio (Ohio Judicial Conference), and the Office
of the Governor of Ohio (Deputy Legal Counsel).
Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Forbes' professional
background included experience in the public and
private sectors. His past experience includes
managing his own private practice and serving as
Assistant Franklin County Prosecutor, Civil
Division. The emphasis of Mr. Forbes' practice is in
the areas of OVI defense, business law, civil
litigation and appeals.
Mr. Forbes has been certified by The National
Highway Traffic Safety Administration as an
instructor in the administration of standardized
field sobriety tests. In addition, Mr. Forbes is
certified by National Patent Analytical Systems,
Inc., the manufacturer of the BAC Datamaster, in the
operation, diagnostic verification and calibration
of the BAC Datamaster Breath Alcohol Testing
Instruments. The BAC Datamaster is the most commonly
used breath alcohol testing instrument in Ohio.

Mr. Forbes is a member of the Ohio State Bar
Association, Columbus Bar Association, Delaware
County Bar Association, and the Thomas More Society.
Mr. Forbes is admitted to
practice before the Ohio Bar and the United States
District Court for the Southern District of
Ohio. He is also a participant/volunteer for the CBA
Homeless Project and The Greater Columbus branch of
Habitat for Humanity.
