Columbus OVI Attorney Jon J. Saia presented at a continuing legal education (CLE) seminar at the 2014 Ohio State Bar Association (OSBA) Annual Convention, which was held in Columbus from April 30 through May 2, 2014. Attorney Saia and another lawyer served as the speakers for the Traffic Law/OVI Update session.
This CLE session, which was offered in the afternoon of May 1, discussed tactics lawyers can use to gain the upper hand in OVI cases in which the deck is stacked against them. The session, which was worth 1.5 General CLE hours, also covered an update on case law. The OSBA’s membership mainly consists of lawyers and judges, though it also includes paralegals and law students, according to the organization’s website. The attorneys and judges make up nearly 26,000 of the approximate 31,000 members who are part of the voluntary professional organization.
