The Law Offices of Saia, Marrocco & Jensen Inc. is hosting a DWI Detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Test Student Certification Course this September. The three-day course will take place at Hyatt Place Worthington in Columbus, OH from September 19-21. This event is only open to the first 25 people who pay for registration, so sign up as soon as possible if you are interested in taking the course!

To reserve a space in the course, call our office at 614-444-3036 . Want to reserve a room at Hyatt Place Worthington for the event? Call (888) 492-8847 and provide the hotel with our group code (G-SAIA) so you can take advantage of our special “The Law Offices of Saia, Marrocco & Jensen Inc.” group rate.

This event provides highly valuable instruction and credentials for attorneys who practiceOVI defense (also known as DWI or DUI defense). Individuals who complete the course will learn the steps that officers take when determining whether a driver is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. They will also learn how to properly carry out standardized field sobriety tests (SFSTs). The event will consist of both classroom instruction and hands-on training, which includes the opportunity for students to perform SFSTS on test subjects who are voluntarily “dosed.”

Individuals who sign up for the DWI Detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Student Certification Course have the privilege of being taught by Senior Instructor Robert F. LaPier, a nationally recognized instructor of this course. Those who register will also get the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s latest manual, which is its 2013 Manual. Attorneys who sign up for the course can receive 19.75 total CLE hours.
