Biography
Taylor P. Bennington is an Associate Attorney with The Law Offices of Saia, Marrocco & Jensen, Inc. After earning her J.D. at the University of Toledo College of Law, she worked for the Guernsey County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and the Law Offices of Tribbie, Scott, Plummer, and Padden before joining Saia, Marrocco & Jensen.
Even before she graduated from law school, Taylor began cultivating the skills she would need to be a successful family law and criminal defense attorney. She worked as a mediator for Lucas County Juvenile and Toledo Municipal Courts, helping children and their parents resolve issues collaboratively instead of through litigation.
Taylor is an experienced mediator, but she’s also a skilled litigator. For several years, she worked as Assistant Prosecuting Attorney at the Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office. She successfully litigated numerous trials and effectively argued before the Ohio Supreme Court and Fifth District Court of Appeals.
Taylor’s experience as a prosecutor has given her the insight and wisdom to be an effective defense attorney. Because she has an understanding of how prosecutors put together a case, Taylor can assemble a strong, personalized defense for each of her clients.
Taylor is a member of the National District Attorneys Association, Ohio Prosecuting Attorneys Association, Ohio State Bar Association, the Guernsey County Bar Association, and the Muskingum County Bar Association.
